Fr. Gabriel Lavery

Fr. Gabriel Lavery, CMRI, is a priest associated with the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (CMRI), a group not in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. He was ordained a priest on May 31, 2003, by Bishop Mark Pivarunas in Omaha, Nebraska. Lavery leads two Ohio "chapels" that worship according to the Extraordinary Form of the Mass and espouse a theology aligned with the CMRI. He has also been involved in various traditionalist Catholic activities, including giving lectures and interviews on topics such as the validity of papal succession and the Ordinary Magisterium of the Pope. Lavery has served as a pastor at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church in Sulphur Springs, Ohio, and has been active in promoting traditional Catholic teachings. Additionally, he has contributed to CMRI publications and has given sermons on various theological topics.
