Fr. Vili Lehtoranta

Fr. Vili Lehtoranta

Born in Turku, Finland (1978), he converted from Lutheranism to Catholicism after college and earned a Master’s in Church History at the University of Helsinki (2007). Influenced by Fr. Anthony Cekada, he concluded the post-Vatican II hierarchy is not truly Catholic, received conditional Baptism, and entered Most Holy Trinity Seminary (Florida). Ordained a priest on 16 Nov 2011 by Bishop Daniel Dolan, he now serves and teaches at St. Gertrude the Great Roman Catholic Church in Ohio. The parish is staunchly Traditional Latin-rite and sedevacantist: it rejects Vatican II, regards the papal throne as vacant because Jorge Bergoglio is deemed a public apostate, forbids “Una Cum” Masses that name him, and dismisses annulments or priestly orders issued under the Novus Ordo hierarchy.
